PrognoCIS Billing Services
When the PrognoCIS schedule is busy but the billing queue keeps growing, start by finding the broken handoff. Synergy assesses support for the practice management workflow, from completed encounters through claim exceptions and unpaid balances.
Identify the billing product and service arrangement
PrognoCIS offers practice management software alongside its other products and services. We confirm which components your practice uses and whether billing is handled by your own staff, an outside company or an existing vendor service.
The review identifies where outside help can be assigned without duplicating work or conflicting with an existing agreement. A clinical login alone does not establish access to every billing task.
Match completed visits to the billing work list
We look for gaps between the schedule, completed documentation, charge review and claims awaiting release. A visit that appears finished clinically may still need an administrative correction or provider clarification before billing.
For groups with several providers or locations, the work list should make ownership visible. We agree who answers coding queries, who corrects registration issues and who releases a claim after the necessary information is supplied.
Work exceptions without losing the next action
Our proposed scope can include claim rejections, payer follow-up, remittance exceptions and patient balance review. We separate submission problems from coverage, authorization or documentation questions so each item reaches the person able to resolve it.
The handoff includes existing notes, prior submissions and appeal deadlines where available. Resending an unchanged claim is not a substitute for understanding why the previous submission failed.
Use reporting to show what remains open
We agree how to report outstanding work by status and responsible party, rather than treating a reduction in one queue as proof that all accounts were paid. Posting and adjustments must be considered alongside the remaining balance.
Before starting, we confirm authorized roles, secure access, a business associate agreement and written service scope. Any vendor plan requirements or account charges remain part of the practice's existing software arrangement.
What to discuss first
- PrognoCIS modules and current billing service arrangement.
- Provider and location count, payer mix and the work causing delays.
- Available claim status, remittance and aging reports.
- Tasks your staff will retain and the person responsible for clarifications.
Common questions
Can Synergy take on only part of the workflow?
A defined task can be discussed, such as follow-up or payment posting. We confirm that the account permissions and division of responsibility support that scope.
Can you begin before the current vendor hands over?
A transition needs a clear cutoff and access plan. We review pending claims and vendor responsibilities first to avoid duplicate submissions or conflicting account changes.
