Urology Medical Billing Services
Urology billing can span office visits, procedures and hospital care. Synergy reviews how your practice captures and works its professional charges, then proposes support for the tasks that create the most unresolved work.
Map the office and surgical workflows separately
An office procedure and a hospital operation may reach billing through different people and systems. We ask how your team reconciles completed services to charges, obtains missing records and identifies which entity owns the professional claim.
The assessment includes the boundary with facility, laboratory and other external accounts. A record in the practice chart does not automatically mean the practice should bill every associated service.
Resolve procedure questions before correction
Procedure-related claims can require review of the service documented, units, related services and postoperative circumstances. We check applicable payer requirements and current edits for the actual claim rather than reuse a correction from another account.
When the record is incomplete or ambiguous, the practice receives a specific query. Billing support should not invent a diagnosis, procedure detail or clinical rationale to make a line payable.
Make denials and remaining balances explainable
We can assess rejection cleanup, payer follow-up, remittance posting and a defined aged-claim project. Prior notes, claim history and deadline information are reviewed before deciding the next action.
Reports show unresolved accounts by the party able to act: payer, practice, patient or another responsible contact. Authorized adjustments remain visible so a declining balance is not mistaken for a payment result.
What to discuss first
- Office procedures and surgical settings included in the request.
- Professional billing entity and external accounts.
- Documentation access and provider-query process.
- Current rejection, denial and posting work lists.
Common questions
Can Synergy work only existing unpaid claims?
A defined follow-up project can be assessed. We agree the account list, available records, prior actions and reporting before accepting it.
Does the page promise specialty certification?
No certification or special payer status is claimed. The proposed work is assessed against the actual services, access and staff capability required.
